Gather good people, come witness this day,
Glimpse into the past of a time far away,
Come learn the stories, hear legends of old,
Of true hearts a many and bold.

Fires burn brightly, pierce deep in the night,
Fueled by laughter, men drunk with delight,
As stormy seas, emotions run high,
For the homeland, each man there would die.

Chorus:
Come cheer one and all, the Chessmen will fight,
For honor and glory, with swords gleaming bright,
So lift up your voices, hear the ringing of steel,
As the Chessmen, they take to the field.

Brilliant they be, amidst morning light,
Tension is mounting, all weapons clenched tight,
As time approaches for the battle to ensue,
The men stand ready and true.

With broad swords, shields and pikes in hand,
Eyes all aglow, they await their commands,
A silence has fallen — all seem to know,
Where lies fate, how many will go?

Chorus

With raging fury, loud cries from the heart,
Sharp weapons slice cleanly, young lives torn apart,
The men fight bravely, no ground will they yield,
Show duty on crimson soaked fields.

Ferocious they fight, ’til they draw their last breath,
The men show no mercy in the face of death,
Two voices explode from the fray all about,
From the depths, the kings now charge out.

Chorus

Face to face the dragon in flight,
With thunderous fury they show their might,
With the gleam of dark metal, the kings make a stand,
A death cry is heard through the land.

The silence is eerie, no sound can be heard,
The dark king collapses, oh what has occured?
Our king rises up, with dagger in hand,
"Victory!" his voice did command.

Chorus

Come cheer one and all, the Chessmen will fight,
For honor and glory, with swords gleaming bright,
So lift up your voices, let all hear near and far,
And in triumph we all shout "Huzzah!"
And in triumph we all shout "Huzzah!"
And in triumph we all shout "Huzzah!"
